Linux Gaming with AMD and Radeon

Hey guys,

I am thinking of getting a laptop (probably a DELL G5 15) with a Ryzen processor and Radeon graphics. Now, I'm currently using Lubuntu on my personal laptop (decided to turn my old laptop into a better one for a quarantine project) and I'm loving it, I have no intent of returning to Windows.

What worries me is that I haven't used my laptop (running Lubuntu) for gaming (since it is not capable) and I am not aware of any problems with drivers and all that stuff. With this new one I'm planning on using PopOS!.

Would you guys recommend me getting this laptop (meaning Ryzen and Radeon combo) or should I get another one with Intel and Nvidia (installing PopOs!)? Or should I just stick with Windows?

I watched the video, but if I'm not wrong they used a Nvidia graphics card and didn't talk about Radeon. Thanks tho, I'm currently watching the video once again.

Thank you for your response, since you seem to be familiar with the topic. Do you know if Call of Duty Warzone is playable in Linux? That's probably the game I'm most interested on.

if you are going to use radeon you just select the other option like they say in the video.
