Help me decide my first VR-title!

MrStealYourRank

I just got myself a Oculus Rift S and are about to try it out for the first time, i've watched the development of the game Boneworks on the creators youtube channel for about 2 years now and since then i've wanted to try it out for myself. That however changed after i saw the reveal for Half-life: Alyx, which looked just like Boneworks but more AAA and a bigger pricetag. If of u guys played any of these games please give me your thoughts of which i should pick up, don't be afraid to bring up stuff like replayability or diveristy in gameplay, just be aware not to share any spoilers and stuff like that.

Thanks in advanced!

Get Half-life: Alyx. It is the only good VR game with a good storyline IMO.

My VR top 3 is Half Life Alyx, Superhot VR and Beat Saber.

Boneworks has always seemed like a half life style proof of concept to me. Half Life Alyx is the pinnacle of VR at the moment in my opinion. It ticks all the boxes in terms of graphics, gameplay and story showing what VR can be if AAA effort is put into it. I will say having played the other Half Life games is a big plus and will help in understanding and experiencing the story.

Beat Saber is a great rythm game and Superhot is Matrix level fun.

Beat Saber.  Everything else is optional.

definitely half life alyx, as others have said. it was my first vr game, and it was a great game, great game play, and pretty easy imo to get familiar with vr while playing. otherwise, saints and sinners, and pavlov vr.
