4k 240ghz monitor under £500 ($645)

rain in july

I hope the new cards will push monitor companies to make one because 240hz at 4k would be amazing. It would cost a bloody fortune though. 4k 144hz is like 1200 rn so I cannot imagine how expensive it would be. Probably closer to 2000.

lol, maybe a 1440p 240hz, but I dont think that 4k 240hz even exists.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

we currently don't even have a gpu fast enough to run modern games at such high refresh rate in 4k, 3090 might have enough vram for even 8k but not the horsepower as ampere was bit disappointing and overhyped

GPU is less of an issue at those framerate

it's CPU, for the most part

many competitive games will run at 4k240, but afaik raising resolution will increase render latency, so it's generally avoided.

and dont think VRAM usage scales with refresh rate, i might be wrong though

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

The LG 27GN950 is a 27" 4K 144Hz IPS monitor, "only" $800.

Not there yet, also when they come, expect much higher price that's for sure. I'd also like to get such a monitor, but not LCD at that point as well.
