50% ram usage

So today Im gaming with my brother he goes "OMG i got 50% ram thats not good"

can someone help me into telling him its not cause he doesnt believe me and i am telling him its fine Fortnite is a heavy game

My crap laptop sits at 70% when it first boots and is just idle.

I can use 50% of 16 gigs just using Chrome. It’s fine, Ram is to be used. Get up near 80-90% then I’d be a bit concerned.

Your brother is likely the type of person who'll grow up and end up filling their car when its half full

 

Being overly cautious isnt something easily remedied, in fact it can be a diagnosed psychological disorder.

 

Nothing to worry about ofc, but if it just who he is then ur beating ur head against a brick wall.

 

Never the less, should he read this, heres my input.

 

50% is NOTHING to worry about !

wow what a small amount peasant, I often have 50% of 32gb being used during my normal browsing

 

50 even 80-85% is just fine.
