When was the last time you emptied it? What all files are in it? (sort by size descending)

Because it doesn't. That is showing where the recycle bin is located, not what's in it. Double click on it to actually open it, don't go to properties.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Properties of recycle bin always shows like that, it shows the capacity of the drive/folder the recycle bin is linked to, not how much data is in the recycling bin. Hence why it says space available, not space used.

Here's my empty recycling bin:

Ok ignore the photo, but read my first sentence. I clicked delete and it was like 100gb... 200gb. Ivr only had this pc a year no way I've deleted 500gb+ worth of stuff (I did t let it go the whole way in case it actually deletes all my data but it was biig. I'm only using 400gb on my ssd and that's including windows and several games including rainbow 6 siege.

Can you give us a pic of what the contents of the bin are?

Have you inspected the files in the recycling bin to see what's actually in there? Anything you recognise that you know you haven't deleted?

EDIT: Also, are you sure it was reporting GB and not the number of files?

To actually see how large the recycle bin is, go to folder option and enable show hidden items and disable hide protected operating system files. Then go to your C drive and right click $Recycle.bin and select properties.

Actaully look at the contents and see if it's stuff you did delete or things that shouldn't be there?
