Linux because it is customizable and anyone can create there own distro and you can even pretend to be in North Korea with red star os

It depends on what you want to use and which Design  you like

also often you get used to a certain OS

Nice responses so far everyone. I personally prefer my version of longhorn developers copy.(yes I was friends with one of the lead developers on Vista) It is rock solid and is before they put the developers bugs in it to force updates or upgrades

it had an xmb like thing or "blades" it was the best thing ever

There's no single OS that I consider the best. That said, currently it'd be something along the lines of:

  • Desktops and laptops: Windows 10
  • Servers, embedded devices, limited appliances: Linux
  • Microcontroller-devices: bare metal or FreeRTOS
  • Phones: Android
  • Tablets: Android

Hand, n. A singular instrument worn at the end of the human arm and commonly thrust into somebody’s pocket.
