so umm i'm new here, am a tech enthusiast too and got really into it over the last 4 months and wanna build myself a PC next year. So how does this forums thing work?

To forum properly, google your question first & see what you can figure out. 

 

Whatever you can’t figure out, you can ask. 

 

Find an appropriate “subforum” or section to post in. Say you can’t figure out if the GTX 1080 is better than the GTX 1070. You can start a thread. 

 

Title:

“I need a graphics card suggestion.”

 

subject:

”I did some research & according to this link (link posted here) the GTX 1070 & 1080 came out just a few years ago. I want to play call of duty on my computer and I heard good graphics cards help make the game more enjoyable.” 

 

You introduced your subject in your title & showed you did some research to try and solve the problem yourself. Someone would likely post a reply to the effect of:

“hey, the RTX 3080 & 3070 are coming out soon. They’re way better. The ones ending in 80 are bigger than 70.”

 

Pretty much how it works. 

Do your best to act smart & behave civil and you’ll be fine.
