So i have a 1070ti sli which uses two 8 pin pcie power to power up the gpu.

I've been using 2 cables 8+8pin to power 1 gpu.

Can i use a 1 cable 8+8pin to power 1 gpu?

If your videocard has two 6+2 pin (8 pin) PCIE connectors, you need two 6+2 pin (8 pin) connectors.

If those two 6+2 pin PCIE connectors happen to be on one cable, so be it. That's fine.

Yes, you can.

Technically, using one 8 pin connector from each cable is better, but in practice makes very little difference.

The 1070ti doesn't consume so much power that having more wires between psu and video card would make a noticeable difference.
