Which CPU is better for the money?

After I buy 750GB SSD my next upgrade will be a new Processor. My build is an AMD FX 8150, Corsair H100i, Asus M5A99fx Pro R2.0, Corsair RAM 16GB (2x8GB), MSI Twin Frozr 780, and a Corsair AX 860 (I do believe). Now the Processor I want is either a 9370 or 9590. Which is better for the money. And please DON'T GO OFF TOPIC ABOUT THESE TWO PROCESSORS! I don't want people saying "Just overclock an 8350". I know what I want, just stuck between two porcessors.

But why do you want these two processors? that is the question.

Just overclock a 8350 or get 9590. But better overclock 8350.

Future proofing. And all I do is game and render 1080p videos.

Why and how?

It is a better binned chip. I personally would just overclock an 8350 but that is not what you want. So go for the fastest and best binned chip.

I'd get the 9370. It's the same processor, no point wasting any extra.

It's the same processor with lower clock and probably can't be overclocked higher because if it could it would be 9590. So you buy 8350 or 9590, 9370 is stupid.

look at the 8320, your argument is invalid.

8320 doesn't always overclock as good as 8350 does, it's not invalid.

This is bullshit. It's like saying the same car but driving slower can't drive as fast as the same car driving faster.

After reading your post, DON'T BUY EITHER OF THOSE THINGS.

This is bullshit. It's like saying the same car but driving slower can't drive as fast as the same car driving faster.

It's true though, the 9590 is a higher binned 8350 is a higher binned 8320.

That's why the clocks are so high. But having an 8350 clocked near 5GHz or a few points under isn't going to degrade the performance THAT much.

i wouldnt go for any, while the bulldozer was considered a fail due to lots of hype its not a bad processor its equal to an overclocked phenom x6 and ive never heard anyone say they are slow..) and you wont notice any difference from an upgrade (not much of an upgrade).

you dont want to hear "just overclock an 8320" but your question is which is better value...well the 9370 will obviously be better value, but none of them will offer performance to match the additional cost so technically speaking none of them would have any value to you anyway(no cpu from either camp would really)

im not saying theyre bad chips, im really dying to get an 8320 to tie me over till i win the lottery and get haswell-e, but if i had an 8150 id probably just see how low a voltage i can use to be 4ghz stable and then call ti a day, its performance will exceed 90% of what people want to do these days.

Most 8350s will reach stock 9590 speeds and will go above it without too much difficulty. For shear speed above 5.0Ghz then a 9590 is the best bet but you still can get there with an 8350. It will just require more voltage to do so.

If you are getting a 9370, 9590, or plan to OC the crap out of an 8350, Do a full custom loop.

They're both stupid, especially the 9590, it'll get hammered by a 4770K in every single way and it is also more expensive than the 4770K.

If you have the money to spend, get a 4770K. If you don't, get an 8320 and overclock it, maybe 8350 if you want slightly higher bin, but both of the ones you suggested are stupid.

if I get a 4770k I need to get a new MoBo... So that's out of the question...
