Unable to adjust new CPU fans

So yesterday I got my new hyper 212 evo, and I installed it with a pair of coolermaster 120mm sickleflows. My motherboard only has 1 CPU fan header, so I used a splitter. But I am unable to control the CPU fans(they constantly run @1800rpm). Does the fans have to be PWM or something? Because the sickleflows are 3-pin.

for monitoring they will need 4 pins.

If your case has a fan controller you can always hook it up to that.

 

Its better to just get 4-pin cpu fan's to have better control over your CPU's temps as well as noise made by the fans.
