can i refund steam games?

i want to refund project cars 2 that i bought from a year ago, can i refund it?

no, only under 2 weeks since you bought it and/or under 2 hours of play time to get a refund.

 

so play more then 2 hours cant refund,

 

own it for more than 2 weeks, cant refund 

 

steam does not care the reason for the refund, you dont even have to give one. you just need to be under those requirements otherwise it will be not accepted, its an automatic system that does refunds

No, to refund it you need to either:

 

• play it for less than 2 hours
• own it for under 2 weeks

note that if you have played it for more than 2 hours and try to refund it within the first 2 weeks it will fail.

No, you have passed the 2 hours playtime.

no. if you have more then 2 hours you cant refund, its a play time or a own time limit. 

 

so after 2 hours of play time you can never refund it even if you just bought it that day

10 hours.. no. 3-4 hours sometime they allow you to refund.

It’s not a hard 2 hours afaik, but it’s stated to be 2 hours. I think I returned a game with 3 hours in it once. 

 

They also do refunds for massive flops like batman Arkham knight being super bad to run on PC & no man sky being a huge let down.

At that point you could have already finished the game... Same with games over 30 days in your possession.

 

You don't have that long return period for retail stuff either.
