Open case - Any personal experience

Cru012

Has anyone fed with all the cases out there in the markets and opt for an open case setting instead? itx cases are compact and looking smart, but no cases can have better thermal than without a case.  Admittedly, in an open case environemnt, dusts, cats and other animals may be an issue for some. What do you think?

I run an open bench build.

Don't really have any dust issues since the fans aren't really near the rest of the system.

That's a THICC rad. This system is definitely cooled properly.

I went somewhere in the middle when I custom built my work PC case.  Glass on both sides, but it has a mostly open design like Thermaltake's Core P3 and P5 cases.  Everything stays cool and quiet!
