Is this enough overhead? (412 watts to 450)

i wouldnt sweat it even with a 400w psu. that being said, there are better options for a lot of the parts you've listed but i dunno what market you're in or if you already have these parts.

Hello, I'm wondering if I'm too close to the maximum wattage and need to provide more overhead. I just bought a 1070 and PCPP is suggesting that I need 412 watts for the system. The Wattage calculator from Seasonic says I have 371 watts and says I'm fine with a 450 power supply. I don't plan on OC or anything, I just don't want my PC randomly shutting down or have any overheating issues :P

I built this about a year ago. All of the stuff I bought was on sale for one point or another and the psu was a gift. I also thought "lets go for the cheapest option" on some stuff like the motherboard and the ssd, so those may be lacking in terms of quality. Any odd choices that stand out in particular?

those are fine, the 2200g seems like a rough pairing with a 1070, same with the 8gb ram. but if it works it works lol
