2 “pc”s in one ?

so i am building my first pc:

r7 3700x~x73

asus b550 prime

2070 super

16gb ddr4

 

my goal is to have the pc in my room where i’ll be gaming & editing. but i also want it to run into the main room for light browsing. 

i want these to be completely separate(aside from on/off) and to have own mouse&keyboard. 

 

do i NEED another gpu ? more ram ? extra adapters ?

I would look into a thin client for your media center and give something like PARSEC a go. It'd allow you to remote control your PC without running all sorts of cables to it.

If all you want to do it web browsing and some video watching, consider something like this. It is a chrome os stick so it is basically a small computer for $70.
