can i use this ram on this mobo?

Go to solution Solved by Haro,

Yep it will be downclock to 2666 but yep.

If you're planning on building a PC though. Avoid b and h series boards, they're generally bad and their memory limitations is a downside as well.

They're the ram speeds supported. So basically yes you can use that ram, and then go to BIOS choose profile 1 IIRC and then set the speed you want it to work at.

[edit] if you have an i5 it's 2666 max and i7/i9 is 2933 max

In the website, https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/MAG-B460M-MORTAR-WIFI#support-mem-31, it shows it only support maximum of 2666MHz. If i have this ram, would it work in this mobo?

The limit is 2666 - that's why we don't recommend intel B and H series boards. The sloe memory cripples CPU performance on modern systems. You're better off either waiting for Zen3 or getting a Zen2 system at the moment.
