Power supply and gpu connecters

My gpu has a pattern of squares and circles on the port. My powersupply has 2 cables for the gpu both fit inside but the shapes don’t match.the pattern on the gpu is

 

“SSCC

CCCS”

s=squares 

s=circle

connect the pcie connector. it usually breaks to a 6+2 and only goes in one way.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad. 

 

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

 

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

What PSU?  Are you sure you're looking at the right connector?

 

Sometimes they'll have a circle in place of a square so the connector can fit into different things, like the connector on the motherboard for CPU power, for example.  But I'm looking at a 6+2-pin from a Corsair PSU and when you put all 8-pins together, it matches the connector on the graphics card precisely.

My neo eco might be the same, I'm not sure but I assume that if it fits in the power slot fine then it should work fine?

As long as the pins are the same amount and right place them probably won't make a difference!
