PC fans stay on after computer shut down

deadmorrow

Hey guys, I have recently assembled a custom PC and everything works fine and boots properly, however, the one issue I am experiencing is that the case fans and power supply fan stay on at a low RPM permanently. The only way to get them to shut off completely is by removing power from the power supply. Once the power to the PC has restored too after a full-power removal, the case fans act like they are trying to start to spin up but do not seem to get enough juice until the PC power button is pressed to boot the PC, then everything is fine. This is a strange issue so I am wondering if anyone has any insight or knowledge of the issue. Thank you so much for reading!

I had the same problem with my PC when I first built it. Turn off fast startup in control panel and it should fix the problem.

I mostly speak from my own past experience from similar problems. My solution may not work for you, but I'll always try my best to help as much as I can. If you want me to see your reply, make sure to quote my comment or mention me @WaggishOhio383, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
