You want to know what this whole Russia and Ukraine thing reminds me of?

TopWargamer

Reminds me a lot of the 1930s, when Hitler was land grabbing, and the League of Nations threatened to do something, but they never, and they just let Hitler take over multiple pieces of land, which then eventually led up to World War II.

Replace Hitler with Putin and land grabbing with Ukraine and it sounds like we're repeating history.

Just some food for thought.

EDIT: And Germany hosted the Olympics prior to World War II. Almost sounds too perfect.

History repeats itself. Look at rome. Then look at the US today. Almost identical.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

You know what this forum reminds me of?

When people believe everything they read in the mainstream media.

They arent even russian soldiers in ukraine. The UN web stream said they were un-identified armed men. Not russian soldiers/armed men.

Putin is wanting to protect the russian people that live in Crimea.  You seem to be demonising Putin becuase the media have portrayed him as a bad person.

You know what I forget, how the US and UK have little to no regard for international law either.

People in glass houses.

1) These are my own thoughts.

2) You need to do your research before talking.

It's really not the same thing lol. Drawing parallels with the USSR is a much, much better comparison to make.

It depends, if those bastards will stay in Crimea then West as always will suck it up and Ukraine will lose this region. Same was with Georgia. NATO and UN is again too coward to do something because there is countries that depend on resources from Russia. Oh, man and the propaganda in Russia is just huge, pretty much they are making Russians to believe that there are large unrest in Crimea and this way they are preparing people for military activities.

I know that. I was talking about the armed men pictures in the streets. The UN said they were unidentified. So why would Yahoo, CNN/any other mainstream media report them as being russian?

Yes, they have approved it.

They have not sent any.

I believe the UN over Yahoo news.

Next?

They've approved it, so Russia's going to be sending in troops. If they weren't going to send in troops, Putin wouldn't have asked for Parliament's permission. He intends to invade, and he's going to. The Ukraine is right on Russia's border, so Russia can have troops there in no time. I wouldn't be surprised if they already have troops there.
