I have recently just upgraded from a gforce 1030 2gb to a rx580 8gig with a athlon 3000g cpu. Performance has stayed normal in games like valorant but in big lobby games like warzone and fortnite my game is able to run on high graphics but is very glitchy and choppy even at lower settings. Can anyone tell if this is because of a bottleneck??

How did you uninsall the GT 1030 drivers and how did you install the RX 580 drivers?

GeForce experience was already installed on my pc so I just went onto that and installed it but with my rx580 amd settings Is not coming up but I installed amd software and drivers are up to date

GeForce experience was already installed on my pc so I just went onto that and installed it but with my rx580 amd settings Is not coming up but I installed amd software and drivers are up to date

But how did you UNinstall the Nvidia drivers?

Check your CPU usage while in-game. If it's pinned at 95-100% (which will likely be the case), your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU.

temps? check gpu and cpu usage, in this context the 3000g should not bottleneck a 580, but it bieng a 2 core 4 thread chip will be holding you back.

Yes it is running at around 100% and I’m sure it is bottlenecking I just ordered a Ryzen 5 2600x should that fix my problem

I will use ddu how do I enable camp/docp and my cpu usage is very high and I’m pretty sure it is bottlenecking my GPU

in the bios, what are the advertised speeds of your kit? 

The cpu usage is very high I’m pretty sure at 100% and I think the GPU is working hard aswell and how do I find kit speed

you can use hwinfo64. 

but use ddu.
