DDoS isnt just to kick someone offline well it is but if u want to get into something "hack" something majority of the time its done by taking it down by DDoS then penetrating during the reboot.

Shouldnt make statements when u don't know what u are talking about.

I remember using wix back in 2009....

I thought the service went down years ago.

Wix websites imo has very flashy websites but I think it was this one that had a bandwidth cap which isn't that good. Wonder what was the reason behind this.

No, it's a form of peaceful protest one can do with electronics instead of physically being somewhere. Sure, some people abuse it, but it has proven to be useful in the past.

What happens when you package a powerful thing into a nice simple package and shove it out there for kids to find and think they are so 'kewl' for using it.

wat. You shouldn't make statements when you don't know what you're talking about either. Unless you're using power over ethernet (which I doubt you would ever do for servers. If you do, you're stupid.), there is no point where it would turn off. It would just lose connection to the internet.

When you DDOS someone you send so many requests to the server which would cause it to crash. Sort of like how when you try to blow to blow too much air in a balloon and it would explode but instead a DDOS would send too many packets (think of them as parcels) which the server (think of it as a warehouse) wouldn't have the bandwidth for (think of them as employees) so they'd be under to much load and crash. So you make the server crash by making it go crazy
