RAID0

Go to solution Solved by SupaKomputa,

If you already have SSD, you don't need RAID 0.

The way it works is:

- The speed is capped to the lowest, so your SSD will run at the maximum speed of the HDD.

- The capacity will be capped to the lowest, so the HDD capacity will use the SSD capacity.

So you loss the benefit both ways, are you sure want to proceed?

Hey guys. I tried everything trying to setup Raid0 With my SSD and HDD. When i get to the Intel group section there is no option to create a RAID volume. Any help appreciated. You can DM me on discord or reply here. Sly#7172

Yes. I want to use it for other reasons ;) Losing speed is not a issue

Most Raid Controllers require drives to be identical

You could do stripped volume in window 10. Kind of like raid0 I guess so. I mean if you just want both drives to show up as one.

i want to set it up so there is no HWID to read. Which makes Raid0 perfect. I dont want to use cheats to spoof my HWID.

Well you could buy a second drive that's identical to the first one, but otherwise probably not. Just be aware that RAID0 doubles the risk of data loss. If one disk dies, the data on both disks is useless.

However, I don't see why you'd want to go to the trouble of setting up a RAID0 to "hide" your HWID. Are you trying to evade a ban in a game client or something?
