New PC Part Picking

Hello! I've had my first PC for between 1-2 years now, and it has a few mistakes that I'd rather fix with a new build completely than replacing the case, upgrading the CPU, and getting rid of RAM.
I do realize that due to the global pandemic, parts are more expensive, and I plan on purchasing everything once the price goes down a bit, so I'm not spending $120 on a PSU that I'd spend $80 on pre-COVID.

I'm planning on getting most of the same parts as the ones on this list:

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7KbwBZ

Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Gold 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($119.99 @ Best Buy)

Are there any changes that should be made?

And while I'm at it, what would about be the price I could get for the system I mentioned in the first line? specs are:

Corsair SPEC-04 (red)

ASRock B450M Pro4

Ryzen 2200g, OC'd to 3.8GHz with stock cooler

2 kits of 2x8GB T-Force 2400MHz for a total of 32 gigs of RAM (I know, should've gotten less gigs, dropped the RGB, and got a higher frequency)

XFX RX570 8Gb, I bought it used

Corsair RM 550X

Noctua NF-S12A

I'll gladly provide any details, I'm sure I missed something

Overpriced and underpowered. Get a Pro4/Tomahawk instead.

Don't buy 4GB RAM sticks. 16GB are available.
Or if you don't want only 1 stick, get 2X8 at least.

I edit my posts more often than not

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

If possible I wouldn't spend $190 on an RX 580 when you already have an RX 570, and in addition considering that there will be new GPUs and CPUs released (NVIDIA and AMD both with new GPUs, AMD with next generation Ryzen), it would probably be a better bet to keep your current build and just slap in a Ryzen 4600 (or whatever they call the next generation of CPUs that would be the replacement for the 3600), along with the best value graphics card you can fit in your budget. This means that in essence that you won't have to rebuy components, which will allow you to get a much higher power graphics card.

I would get new memory, at 3200mhz like the others suggested. $60

Get a 4600 (assuming it's a replacement in terms of price for a 3600) $180

You are at a total of $240, so the price of the build you were going to build, 840 - 240 = 600, which means you have $600 to spend on a next generation graphics card, something like a RTX 3070 or even a 3080 depending on what they do with prices, or the AMD version if they "git gud" enough.

You also did not list your storage, but assuming you have a basic SSD it might be a wise investment to spend $100 on a nice 1tb 2.5 inch SSD.

EDIT: The next generation of CPUs and GPUs will be released in about two months.

Okay, I'll do that instead, thank you very much.

so you already have a 2200g, a b450 pro4 and a rx570

and you want to upgrade to a 3200g, a b450 strix and a rx580?

that sounds like a terrible plan

the pro4 is better than the strix

the 3200g is not much better than the 2200g

the rx580 is not much better than the rx570.

so you plan to spend 800$ for a 10% performance increase?

you can easily upgrade your current system for much cheaper and a much bigger increase in performance.

for $130 you can get a 3300x

for $60 you can get a 2x8 gb 3200C16 kit

for $220 you can get a 1660 super that's much better than a rx580.

keep your current psu (it's great)

keep the case (it's meh, but who cares)

so you can spend have the money for a 30-40% improvement in performance

My reasoning was mostly to fix some other mistakes I made since it was my first build, such as lots of bad and expensive RAM and a poor case choice, and I'm pretty sure a lot of that extra cost is coming from pandemic inflation. But I have changed plans to just making some cheap upgrades.

Unless you need the extra M.2 slot but I agree

In that case go for the mortar max.
