Digital games work offline?

I was gonna buy Forza horizon 4 for xbox one x on cd keys. Is that website legit and will that game work on my xbox even if i dont have the xbox live gold?

I am buying the ultimate edition so will I definitely get all the add ons?

Just because you got the game, doesn't make it "legit".

It's grey market at best and can be keys that were bought with stolen credit cards.

 

If you download the entire game, you should be able to play it offline the same you would with any other game.

You don't need to have Live Gold unless you want to race with and against other folks online.
