Just woke up and the problem is solved.

I noticed I installed FH4 on my SSD and wanted to move the 70+ GB file to my HDD through the settings app in windows. I noticed it was going to take ages so I tried to cancel it. I can't cancel, uninstall or execute the process. The move button is not clickable anymore. There is a background service running, which is the transfer of files. But if I click end process I get a Windows stability warning. Should I leave my computer on for a few hours and see if it gets transferred or is their any other solutions?

I have also gone into Advanced options under the game title and tried all the reset and terminate options but the transfer is still hapenning.

Yes... if you interfere with it, it may screw up Windows, too.

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

What will happen if it shut my computer down or restart it?

Data loss... minimum.

Corrupted Windows install...?  Is it worth the risk?

Do you think the hardware usage is the files being transferred and should I leave it on overnight?

Yes and yes... best to.

Tower only; doesn't need the monitor...

Okay, thanks for your help. Hopefully this will be sorted when I wake up. It is currently 1:40am in UK.
