hey. I'm going to buy asrock x570 taichi tomorrow..

any thoughts about this board?

my cpu is 3900x and gpu gigabyte aorus 2080 super. need some responses ASAP..

thanks

It okay, its T topoly for ram though (if you care about that kind of stuff) where daisy chain is usually prefered for ryzen.

If you just want its looks, go for it, but as for bang for buck, what does it bring you over lets say a b550 tomahawk?

i'd grab that board for a 4x8gb config only, or 4x16 depending on what u do with ur pc. Otherwise the x570 master has a better heatsink. Alot of the newer zen 2 steeping can hit 1900, i don't know if the taichi makes enough of a difference to run 4 sticks at 3800, it'll be a gamble also on whether u get an old chip (1800fclk ) or a new chip

Any reason why you need an X570 board? You can just get a board like the B550 Gaming Plus which looks really good, has a solid VRM, and is pretty reasonably priced.

it's my dream build. so i want everything best 🙂 but in my country and in my budget only taichi fits 😓

b550 is not available in my country and probably x570 taichi is better than most of b550 right?

Gosh again same crap like me posting....guys he wants Taichi stop advertising B550,accept his decision and share thoughts about that model.

I'm not a fan of AsRock,I mean I was when AsROCK gave same stuff for less money, now midrange boards are quite expensive and I'd rather go for GB MSI.

And I don't like their BIOS...though Taichi X570 is great board just too expensive.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

Yeah the X570 Taichi's a solid board, pretty expensive for what it is as previously mentioned by some but I mean you don't want to skimp in any way for your dream build and that's your choice.

What other options do you have around the same price as the Taichi though? Going off the top of my head, for similar pricing you could get an X570 Unify which has quite a lot beefier of a VRM setup and most likely will have much better memory compatibility than the Asrock board. Looks and BIOS are mostly personal preference so I'm not gonna comment on that, but I'd suggest checking it out.

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Because there are better models for the same price or less.

The board is solid. It uses an AMD specific vrm controller ( if I remember the name I think it's the 6147) and it's relatively good. But other boards I would look at is the unify and the tomahawk ( which uses 6 doubled 60A smart power stages ) which will perform similarly or the same and will probably cost less.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).
