Posted July 2, 2020 I have decided to swap my current corsair RM750 with an SF750 given some clearance issues in my itx build. Both are fully modular. Wondering if i need to re-route the cables with those provided with the new power supply or if i can simply detach my old power supply and plug them into the new one? Posted July 2, 2020 Google the corsair modular cable compatibility stuff. There is a photo on the webs they have saying which modular cables can be used across which PSU lines. Posted July 2, 2020 Depends on which RM750 you have. If it's the old one with a yellow label on the side, you need to get a new 24-pin cable. I ended up deciding to just switch them out because the cables that come with the SF are actually fully individually braided which i was not expecting!
