cpu upgrade maaaaaybe

i upgraded from my gtx 1050 to gtx 980 for the same price a very great deal

but now that i also have two monitors i was thinking of a cpu upgrade

i cant go from intel to amd because a amd board would cost as much as my i5 7400 that im using right now in our damn country

so i was thinking if its worth upgrading from i5 7400 to 6700

should i got for it?

I'm sorry but it seems you're heading back in time with your "upgrades". If the market is not good in your country, why not save that money up and wait until the current supply situations rebound back to normal?

these upgrades are the only ones i can do

if i want to go for something like day a rtx2060

i should wait for 3-4 years then that card will be useless

It is better, but I'd recommend a 7700k or saving up more for a modern CPU.

I agree with commanderalex. this upgrade is going the wrong way. i think 1050 performs less than 980 but your cpu is going from last gen to last last gen

No

AMD says your Ryzen 9 3900X supports 3200mhz ram but it work with higher speeds, and my Ryzen 5 2600X supports 2933mhz ram speed but my ram is running at 3200mhz. What you are reading is the factory specs.

Do your homework before you get cocky. 2400mhz does work. It's technically overclocked, but it works just fine at this speed and higher.
