PC Nostalgia thread..

1. Probably waking up around 4AM after going to bed around 11PM just to play some more Runescape, back in the good ole days, on and old Dell Dimension.

2. Waking up during the winter and playing World of Warcraft during Wrath.. I loved that time period.

3. First install of Linux Ubuntu.

What are some of your guys' favorite nostalgia moments?

Back in the days, where Soldier Of Fortune was only available through Kazaa Lite and you'd have this folder [physical that is] full of games, and you would share them with your friends and play at home-LANs cause DSL was very rare back then. And CS 1.6. CS has been going downhill ever since.

When my sisters first got the Sims 2 it would literally be a race to see who woke up first, because they would always get to play the longest since my parents wouldn't impose some stupid rules until they woke up.

When I was hella into MapleStory my friend Tyler and I would go buy 30-50$ of Nexon cash (in-game currency) to buy 2x cards and we would get our characters to at least level 30 (2nd job advancement) and we would always make it by like 2 AM. The next day was almost always sunday so we had to get up early for church and that was neeeever fun after a long night of grinding. Good times buying energy drinks and gift cards :)

Insane nostalgia of roller coaster tycoon 1 & 2. The music gives me tha feelz. Played those games to DEATH when I was younger.

Well, why didn't you keep the hard drive that had the park on it?

Because I was maybe 9 at the time when my sister spilled water all over the laptop that housed my beautiful creations

You still couldn't salvage the drive?

Wow, your sister is so damn stupid. Why even have water near electronics?
