RAM timings. Please send help.

Hi. I'm all out of ideas so I decided to ask for help. 

I have two sets of ram, same brand and same rated speeds. Both are Adata XPG D10's and are rated to run @ 2666 mhz.
The recent I bought that was a bundle with my motherboard and processor has timings of 16 18 18 @ 1.2v which is 2x4 gb's that I'm using now. The kit actually can handle an xmp of 2933 mhz which is actually great on my end so I decided to purchase more of the same, and since I needed the ram size upgrade to 16gb for digital works.
I wanted to have a little upgrade so I decided to purchase another set of the same brand. The timings on them was never disclosed on the product page which I assume would be the same as the one I bought before. The new ones have timings of 16 16 16 still under 1.2v.

Whenever I use the kit together, it actually boots the pc up. Works sometimes and sometimes has some random BSOD's and crashes. At times games won't work or apps randomly crashes.
I just wanted to know if I can actually set the timings for both rams manually on my bios to something. I already tried playing with it for a bit but never manually. Just the one option from the motherboard that can get you to set the rated speed and timings automatically. It was named "Memory try it!" something from an MSI motherboard. A b450 bazooka plus. 

Purchasing a new set of ram actually won't work for me since my budget is really tight as of now and still making ends meet. I work as a digital artist and offers are kind of scarce due to the ongoing pandemic and such. 

If ever I can set the ram timings manually, what do I need to change them to?

Yes, you can. Then just run a memory test to see if it's stable.

No one can really tell you what you have to set it to, just play around with it, going down one number until you get a stable result.

Hi again and thanks for replying.

When you mean memory test, I think windows has its own one, right? Or do I need to have another application for it. 

I tried memory testing too before when playing with the timings, only from the built in windows memory diagnostics. That's when I noticed the ram has errors.

I would like to ask as well where to manually start with the timings. Should I go with 16 16 16 or 16 18 18. 
Also, I think the timings are 16 16 16 36 and 16 18 18 38, might need to check once I'm out of work later.
And how about the voltages? Should I change it, or would it even help?

16-18-18 is more likely to be stable than 16-16-16. Memory ICs that end up on that stick will prefer looser tRP and tRCD in particular. More sticks also means less stability with the same settings as it is more stressful to run.

 

As for voltages, 1.35v should be fine if not even higher. Just watch performance scaling, up to some point more voltage may even hurt overclocking.

Will try this and play around with the timings more for a bit. 
Will post again for an update if anything or something works out.
