Floatplane iOS app not available in the US

On the most recent WAN show, Linus mentioned Floatplane's app. I've looked at it before but never downloaded it. Because he mentioned it, though, I searched for it on the App Store, and it didn't appear. After googling it, I found a link for it, clicked it, and got the not available in your country or region message.

Was Floatplane's iOS app taken down? Linus mentioned it on the WAN show because of the current events involving external subscriptions on the App Store, so I was wondering if it was removed by either Floatplane or Apple.

Don't think it's been approved, yet.

Linus has said that LMG/Floatplane can't afford the Apple Tax...

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

You would think that would be the case, but it was on the App Store, available for download, a few weeks ago when I last checked.

Linus implied that the app. can't/won't get even bug fixes because of the 30% cut demands that will make the app. a loss maker.

My overall guess would be that LMG/Floatplane have pulled the app.
