Newegg might have it for cheaper, it was $49 when I bought it, but the current human malware epidemic has inflated the price.

Edit: Yeah it is and all the colors are around the same price of $55 US

40-50 bucks and long story short: Cat beds look like shit and I'm trying to make it less of an eyesore. My plan was to take a really cheap case and put the bed in it.

Or get one of those old massive Dell PC's from the early 2000's, gut it out and most of the time with a bit of elbow grease you can get the drive cages out. I commonly see them at thrift stores for pennies on the dollar.

Sadly most of the times they have non proprietary layout

Non-proprietary? So standard? I don't think the cats will mind a standard layout

The Corsair Carbide 100R Mid-Tower case might be perfect for you. no PSU shroud, cheap (I got it for $55 a couple years ago), plain, removable drive bay, and 5 1/4" bays if necessary.

Here's the Corsair site listing. Unfortunately it isn't available from amazon directly, and the Newegg listing is inordinately expensive.

Crappy CPUAMD FX-6300

Inadequate Cooler: Coolermaster MasterLiquid Pro 120

Garbage Mobo: GA-990FXA-UD3 R5

Shitty RAM: 16GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3, 4 sticks, 2 black and 2 white

Stupid GFX card: EVGA GTX 750 Ti FTW ACX

Fire-Prone PSUEVGA 500W W1 80+

Ugly CaseNZXT S340 White

Slow StorageSamsung 850 Evo 500GB SSD, WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD

Components lost in the line of Duty

Broken Cold Cathode, Broken white LED strip, crumbly thermal compund, bent-up Hyper 212 Evo, Trashed Corsair Carbide 100R Silent, 12 dozen broken case fans
