Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I do like aesthetic... but I don't know how that will play into my budget.

If you could make it cheaper that would be great... but if not that is fine just keep it around $1200

Good job for using Night Theme

Perhaps you can remove the AIO and upgrade to a 5600XT instead ?

Your build looks decent, but:

  • I'd swap out the AIO for an air cooler. At that price, you can get a killer air cooler, but the 140mm AIO doesn't perform that well.
  • I'd swap the storage out for a single 1TB SSD; if you need more space later, a 1TB HDD is super easy to add.
  • Get a better WiFi adapter; Gigabyte makes a PCIe one with built in BT for not much more.
  • For an extra $10 you can get the G.Skill KM780R keyboard which is miles above the Corsair one you have listed.

You can also get a pci-e wifi card that is cheaper and faster, I would recommend a more colour accurate monitor if you need it.

Uh, no, no you can't. The one you linked isn't even wireless AC, it caps out at wireless N.

Here's my recommendation.

Not the best build out there, because of bad pricing of products due to ongoing crisis. Need to work with what's available.

TUF Gaming Build

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($167.00 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($89.99 @ Newegg) Not the best b450 board out there. There r much better boards in this price range, but all of them are out of stock. b450 tomahawk max, a pro max, gaming plus max, mortar max will be my first recommendations. Currently tomahawk max is available for $115 and it's not worth that much. I would recommend u to wait for a while and get b550 board instead.
