I think audiophiles would say that their class starts from about 300€£$

But what i like is the ultrabudget ISK HF2010. Not true audiophile ones, just good for their price.

Hmm, now its also Freeboss HF2010 i guess...

DT990 from Beyerdynamic are around that price range IIRC, very nice phones for the price

Yep. They sound good and are very comfortable. But another alternative are the sennheiser hd500 series. Although if you want a more durable headphone go for dt 990 or 770.

PM or DM me if you have any questions about audio.

I don't know where that number came from especially in the days where one of the competitive areas in headphones is sub $200 due to mass drop and Beyerdynamic

What headphone would I buy if I only had $100?

It's pretty tricky, because there's quite a lot of choice at $50-ish and $150, but $100 isn't that active.

You can't really have a DT990 or a X2HR at that price, so probably a Takstar Pro82? It's a lot better than the Pro80 (also known as a HF2010) in every way imo. And spend the rest on some music.
