help with an upgrade please

hello everyone  i am been using this computer for about 3 almost  years now but im not sure what graphics card will be good for me!! im not a heavy gamer but now i want to be one, anyways wanna keep it in the 1080 ultra settings range maybe 4k

my specs are :

 motherboard : asus z170 ar

ram : 2 corsair vengance ram 8gb each  ( 3000 ) (16gb total )

inter i7 6700k  4.0 ghz

graphics card : geforce gtx960

 

i was told that my graphics card had a poor performance !!  please any help or advice will be really appreciate 

 

not into 4k ,, just ultra settings !! i justa  27 in monitor !!!

4k gaming is trash and you should not do it IMO. The hardware needed to run it is way out of your price range. A good upgrade would be a 2060/2070 Super.

 

Also be careful about full ultra settings, some are just not worth it.

If you're interested in 4K gaming, you might want to wait for Ampere and RDNA2, which should be coming in late Q3/early Q4.
