Poco F2 Pro: the value champ is also a battery champ!

Damn. That's impressive for the cost. You can get it for less 500€ where I live.

Snapdragon 865, 4700 mAh, OLED panel, no notch, small bezels but no curved edges...The only reason NOT to pick this phone is if you're really, REALLY into taking the highest quality pictures 24/7.

Not a fan of MIUI either, but you can just slap NovaLauncher on top of it, can't you?

As for the water resistance, the 1+7 Pro proved the label is just a label. It makes costumers feel safer sure, but you can achieve water resistance without paying for the certificate.

Well the IP certification costs a lot more for the manufacturer than you might think

Not only does it cost to obtain certification, it also costs a whole damn lot to bear the obligation to repair/recover/reconpense phones that failed to meet the IP standard.

Imagine having an IP68 certified device and it dies to water exposure when its supposed to survive. As a result you lose access to important data or flat out unrecoverable. The manufacturer will have to bear the brunt of having everything required to recover your device. A lawyer may even come into the picture. And what if the customer is large business that bought the phone for deployment to employees with the IP rating being a major consideration?

The K30 Pro/F2 Pro is actually a fantastic value proposition especially where total service life is concerned. With only the need to run its 1080p 60Hz display, its basically impossible to run into any perceivable slowdown for the forseeable future. The big battery lets it run for longer in between charges, ultimately reducing total # of charges and goes through charge cycles at a slower rate. As a result the battery deteriorates at a slower rate and it will be able to hold a good charge for a very very long time.

If you want something that will chew through games without breaking a sweat, or a phone that will serve you well for a very long time, this is probably the best candidate right now. As a bonus its relatively affordable for having an SD865, and also has that headphone jack.

Awareness is key. Never enough, even in the face of futility. Speak the truth as if you may never get to say it again. This world is full of ugly. Change it they say. The only way is to reveal the ugly. To change the truth you must first acknowledge it. Never pretend it isn't there. Never bend the knee.
