Silent wireless gaming mouse recommendation

Virgule

Hello,

I'm looking for a recommendation for a silent gaming mouse. Here are the main things I'm looking for with importance rating (1-5 least to most important).

Wireless : 5 (2,4 GHz preferred)

Battery life : 3

Low noise for main switches : 5

2 left side programmable buttons : 4

Other programmable buttons : 1

On-board memory : 3 (isn't that a standard with anything that's not dirt cheap ?)

Sensor quality : 4

Ambidextrous design : 3

RGB Lighting : 2

Customizable weight : 2

Budget : 2

Ideal weight around 110 g

Usual DPI setting : 1800

Preferred hand : Right-handed

I currently use a G903 Chaos Spectrum and have been through 3 of them in the past. They are good but the QC is lack-luster and they don't age very well. They are prone to clicker issues. It's also way too loud and I want a more silent alternative (main focus of my research here).

Thanks for the recommendations

There are less loud mice out there I'm sure.

there might be, but i doubt it will make a huge difference. you could check out the new ROG Chakram, it allows you to hot swap the switches to your liking.

Yea, I just watched that review. Seems like a step in the right direction except for the absurd joystick.

The joystick as a 4 way switch is actually super useful. I have something similar on my Thermaltake mouse.

All that aside, no real data on the noise level of the different switch options.

the only true silent mouse i have tried is the logitech M330 (they have other variants with the same switch), but it is an office mouse. not sure if you can replace the switches to gaming mice

There is a Realforce mouse that uses Topre switches which are way quieter than the microswitchs that neally all other mice use.

I'll look into Realforce's selection. I think I've heard of them on the keyboard side.

just to clarify, which model are you referring to?

just googled one of their mice with the topre switches, and they are indeed very quiet compared to the regular omrons, though it was a wired mouse

No help, but I would love to hear of there is a viable alternative to logitech wireless gaming mice. So far they seem to be the only ones with a halfway decent product in the category and even they have significant issues.
