Is this normal for a 5400 rpm drive?

TrainFan475

Are these speeds something you would expect from a sata II 2.5'' 5400 rpm drive? The model is ST9200827AS

Yep, rather slow but nothing out of the ordinary for a 5400 RPM HDD. Especially given that it's from the SATA2 era and has only 8mb of cache.

My 5400 RPM 2.5 drive is about double, think thats down to the fact that mines SATA3 and yours is probably SATA2
