Posted September 22, 2020 Author Very slow going due to life and work catching up with me, but some progress. The radiators have been flushed and fitted along with the customised Noctua fans, I've run the 8 pin, front audio and case connectors, tweaked the rear fan fitment and done another couple of bits of tidying. I also painted the side of the GPU PCB with a black paint pen. Just need to do fittings, tubing and the rest of the cables now and I'll be ready to leak test. I'm particularly pleased with the rear fan placement now. Initially I had the full 30cm cable trailing up the side which looked awful, but checking my motherboard manual it has a case fan header right below the I/O cover. So I've used a short 5cm-ish Noctua fan low noise resistor cable to link the rear 12x15 with the absolutely minimum need for excess cables. I could have cut and crimped a new connector but frankly I can't be arsed and I don't think I'll ever run it over 1200rpm anyway. I'm regretting not getting the CPU mounting bracket anodised black, and I definitely need a second GPU to fill out the case, but I'm really happy with how it's looking. Posted October 3, 2020 Author Progress has been really slow due to real life getting in the way. Today I had a couple of hours so I had a go at a straight run from my GPU. I don't like it though so I'm going to redo it with more of an arc like the CPU ones have Currently running an air pressure test, after 30 minutes I'm down from 0.51 bar to 0.49 so maybe there's the slowest of slow leaks somewhere or maybe my tester isn't perfect. Either way it's so little loss I'm happy to try with water assuming it doesn't get any worse when I finish plumbing in stuff. -Edit Okay reran the GPU tube...much better. If I can match the arc on the lower one then they should completely clear the 6+8 pins which will allow for some really clean GPU cable runs.
