Don't really know where to post this

LordKitsune

So, I have a broken phone. I'm trying to recover the data off of it, and cannot use touch inputs to allow access to device data. USB debugging is enabled, as I've backed this phone up before, but the owner of the phone didn't want me to check the "always allow from this computer".

I was wondering if there is a way to use a mouse connected to my computer as an input device for the phone (which is also connected to the computer). I don't have a UTG cable or I would already be using that... I used to have one of them. Threw it away thinking I would never use it, and now here we are. *kicks self*

Any advice would be appreciated. Even if it is just saying this isn't possible.

There are ways but none that you will be able to use without first installing something on the phone or touching to give permissions...

In that case the only thing you can typically do is buy a replacement screen just to be able to operate it...
