Is this Userbenchmark for my RAM concerning?

Userbenchmark says my RAM is performing below potential. I have the XMP 2.0 enabled but I got this score. Is it just that my RAM is performing as it should and other people's are a bit better or overclocked? (luck of the draw, I guess?)

from the looks of it, your ram is running at 2133mt/s so its not running at its full speed. What speed does the bios say its running at?

Check to make sure your memory is running at appropriate speed.

You can use resource manager to check speed.

Also, what is your cpu and motherboard

No it seems like you actually don't have XMP enabled. It says right there you are only at 2133mhz and not 3000mhz.

It says 2133 MHz. So I changed the XMP from auto to DDR4-3000 and now it should be good!

My CPU is running a bit warmer. It was usually around 30 idle, but now it sits at 35 celcius-ish. Is this still fine and expected?

Yes, it is perfectly fine and expected for a CPU to idle that low. Also, what really matters are the load temperatures. As long as they don't get close to 100°C it is fine.

Hi, sorry. I should calrify. Quick question if you're still around. I readjusted my XMP profile. Does it make a difference if I have it manually set to Profile 1 at 2800Mhz and DRAM frequency of DDR4-3000 vs. Profile 2 at 2933MHz and DRAM frequency to Auto?

Well, yes, it makes a difference. In the first one it takes timings that are appropriate for driving the RAM at 2800MHz and you just manually change the speed to 3000MHz, which might work, but it also might not work. In your second case, the XMP-2933MHz profile is entirely loaded and not modified by you, but verified by the manufacturer so it should work out of the box without modifiying additional factors. So, in your case, I would go for the 2933MHz XMP profile.

Thanks again! I set it to the 2933 profile. Have a good day and stay safe.
