What would be the reason you want to upgrade?

With a lot of games I would say you could get away with just getting a new videocard and calling it a day. So knowing what games you play and what resolution would be great.

Otherwise, if you want/need to upgrade your CPU, you will also be upgrading your motherboard and memory.

Do you have an SSD right now as well?

thta cpu is still decent overclock it.

you can buy better gpu (with the overclocked cpu) something like

lower mid range: rx 5600XT

Your CPU is still good and rocking for gaming. The only thing I'd upgrade is your GPU. I'd get an RTX 2060S/2070S or an RX 5600XT/5700XT.

But if you want to upgrade your CPU, you'll have to get a Ryzen 3700X/3900X with ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero, Gigabyte Aorus Master, Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme (or an entry level motherboard Gigabyte Aorus Elite 200€), paired with a fast 3200Mhz CL16 memory.
