Mechanical Keyboard

Tea1337

I am looking for a new keyboard since my rubberdome keyboard isn't cutting it anymore, So I'd like something mechanical. But i'd like your opinion on what switch type to use.

 - I type a lot, and I type fast, so i'd like a keyswitch that is best for typing, I have no experience with anything but blues.

What switch do you prefer? I just need something that will last and is no more than $80

quickfire tk. It's slightly higher but totally worth it.

Switches are totally personal preference. You can get what other people find better, but honestly that won't help you at all. Every person is different.

Asking switch type preference is like having 4 different styles of sunglasses that provide the same UV protection and asking which is better for you.

The come in reds, blues, and yes, browns. I have the browns myself, but that's only because the store didn't have the blues in at the time.

We (Cooler Master) host a free educational resource that includes explanations about the various switch types. You can find it at the following link: http://www.cmuniversity.net/switches.php?lang=en

This is not meant as a sales pitch so I apologize if mentioning our product is an issue, but if you really want to try the physical switches first hand, you can either visit a local electronics shop to try their displays for free or purchase a switch demo from our CM Store. It's $15 for the tester and that amount is applied to your purchase of one of our mechanical keyboards from our CM USA Store site.
