what SSD to get

For my new rig im thinking instead of using my old drives why not just buy a 1TB SSD then later on I can get a HDD is this a good choice https://pcpartpicker.com/product/JLdxFT/samsung-970-evo-10tb-m2-2280-solid-state-drive-mz-v7e1t0baw  or is there a better value one

You should be able to get a Sabrent Rocket, ADATA SX8200 Pro or HP EX950 for cheaper and get similar performance.
