500 dollar just for the CPU and GPu or including the mainboard you would need for it?

i would wait for the 3100 and the 3300x to come out since they will be a killer value and the b550 chipset will pair nicely with them so wait and then see

For the Nvidia GPUs I highly doubt they'll lower the price significantly for the launch. Because the 2000 cards are really good as we've seen and the 3000 series could be pricier mind you. We still don't know anything until they launch.
