Looking to build my first pc dedicated to gaming that can handle major AAA titles at at least 1080p with 120 fps. I've managed to come up with this list was was wondering how well it will perform with such games.

Please tell me if there are better options for me or if any items conflict with each other such as the case because the recommended one was sold out or if this is overkill or not enough as I really don't have any knowledge with this sort of stuff. Would be appreciated much, thanks.

Are you planning to overclock? If not, the stock cooler would do you just fine.

You don't have to use X570 for a 3600. A B450 MSI Tomahawk will suffice.

Make sure you're using H500M, the H500 with a mesh front since the original one has awful airflow.

Main Rig :

Ryzen 7 2700X | Powercolor Red Devil RX 580 8 GB | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 | 16 GB TeamGroup Elite 2400MHz | Samsung 750 EVO 240 GB | HGST 7200 RPM 1 TB | Seasonic M12II EVO | CoolerMaster Q300L | Dell U2518D | Dell P2217H |

Laptop :

Thinkpad X230 | i5 3320M | 8 GB DDR3 | V-Gen 128 GB SSD |

Alright overall.

I would change a few things:

Cooler makes more sense for an R5 3600.

Better motherboard.

Much better GPU in terms of cooler design.

Better quality PSU.

I'd get a 1TB SSD. You can find other ways to cut costs like getting a cheaper second monitor.

Other than that it looks fine.

I don't plan on overclocking as I don't see a reason for me to do so. I won't be recording or rendering videos, at least not in the forseeable future. Honestly just picked the first case I saw that was available. I'll grab the H500M unless anyone has a recommendation. Just looking for good airflow. Not worried about rgb or it being compact

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought mismatching monitors isn't a good thing to do. I heard it's best to have them be from same manufacturer or at least same resolution. Though I did hear it from just 1 YouTube video maybe I misunderstood or something.

If you want to play on both at the same time with surround, then they have to be the same or nearly the same. But it makes no sense to do surround with 2 monitors

The H500 has a mesh front and is fine, Gamers Nexus reviewed it, has good thermals, you don't need the H500M, bloody cooler master and their naming.

Nah, it's completely fine.

It lacks aesthetics, I have mis-matched monitors, it is aggravating, while they are both 27" they do not align on my Vesa mount and it is triggering my OCD.

I will have to buy a matched monitor at some point.

For the OP, you may not care about that so it is fine.

Also that price for the LG is insane you could have two 27" LG850s for that price.
