USB C Hub via USB A Adapter // Or an Alternative

CommandAndCompute

Hello everybody!
I signed up here on purpose just to ask that question, because I have seen this topic as a part of LTT's videos several times, and I consider this both a big, active and thematically divers forum.
So I thought I'd ask this question here:
In my current situation my PC is located nicely for noise, desksetup and thermals, but it is barely reachable anymore.
So I laid my eyes upon one of those puppys:

https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07V2N5BJV?ref_=pe_780061_49410461_dpLink

https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07VFMVHSS?ref_=pe_780061_49423841_dpLink

Those are german amazon links, please excuse that, but the pictures should convey what those are.

It's badly translated anyway.

I contacted those two and several others on Amazon through "Amazon Question", but I only got non-answers from customers.
(OT: Why answer a question, If the first sentence in the answer is litterally "I don't know")

The problem is, I'm rocking IvyBridge, B75 on top of that. At the time USB 3.0 Type A was all the rage, now it is a bit behind. (Or 3.1 Gen, or 3.2 Gen 1, you get the gist, anyway, it's a 5 Gbps link).
First and foremost: I couldn't care less about the display out's. But I really want the combination out of serveral USBs, RJ45 Gigabit, both SD Card Formats, and a 3,5mm in one box that I can integrate in my desk setup.

So If someone could point me to a hub that does that guaranteed with a 3.0 Type A 5 Gbps link, that would be just nice.

But I didn't find one, propably because back then people didn't produce these, because Laptops had still I/O.

Anyhow....

Should that Hub I desire indeed not exist, maybe someone can give me a pointer with this, either because he tried something similiar already or because someone just studies USB specification papers for fun:

https://www.amazon.de/Packung-Konverter-Unterstützung-Datensynchronisation-Aufladung-Usb-C-Buchse-auf-3-0-Stecker/dp/B07G465SYD/ref=sr_1_10?__mk_de_DE=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&dchild=1&keywords=USB+Type+C+to+a+adapter&qid=1587844754&sr=8-10

Supposedly USB is always backwards compatible, and you can find 3.0 ethernet, 3.0 sound devices, and of course hubs and card readers, even display outs, but again, I really don't care for those.

Long Story short:

Would hooking those things up after another work?
If not, does someone know of something similar designed for USB 3.0 Type A?

Something like this plus a C dock?

EDIT: You pointed to one - yes that should work.

Well this is very close to the third link I posted. Do you have any experience or idea if it would actually work?

I've never used one in this direction, but see no reason why it wouldn't work - although obviously any display outputs won't but the rest should.

I just ordered a similar adapter since I have 2 docks and being able to use them on my machines that only have USB-A would be convenient, so I'll be able to say in a few days...

Thanks a lot!
Could just tell us the kind of doc you have as well?
Since I would not only have to order a propably anyway handy adapter but a potentially useless dock at well, I would very much aprreciate a someone trying it out.

Yup, works perfectly just as expected. Full speed on network/USB/card reader, no display.

Here you are, although they're both local brands so it's unlikely you'll find just the same. USB-C dock is long discontinued, I've had it for nearly 4 years.
