also what temperatures? did you clean the cpu properly and apply thermal paste when installing the new cooler?

Would really need to know what Cooler you are using and what cooler you were using, but if its that bad, and it should perform much better, you may have just installed it incorrectly

or its literally you put something with a lower capacity than what you had before so its getting heat soaked.

AND new fans ? what are they? how have you installed them ? what direction is the air flow in your case? do you run positive pressure?

ANd Fx8350, dude that's like a 9 year old processor! it runs hotter than what you have but I wouldn't personally put a CPU cooler for a FX8350 onto a Ryzen, the cooling footprint is larger on the ryzen i believe (I have owned the FX8350) now run a ryzen 7 put your old cooler back on.

This is not how coolers WORK not in the slightest, heres the cooler we are talking about https://www.eteknix.com/amd-wraith-cpu-cooler-fx-8350-review/

Can you show me where you have seen that it supports Ryzen? as I wanna stand by my point, do not use an 8yr old CPU cooler for a different platform on a new one!

Sorry, no CPU is 35c under load.  Regardless of air cooler.

I think you need to accept that 65c under load is perfectly fine.  Because it is.

that's a different cooler to the one you are using! you do not have that cooler. you are showing the page of the latest one that is stating it is backwards compatible!

Is the cooler applying enough pressure to the CPU?

If it is not pushing hard enough against the CPU, the heat transfer will be affected.

35c is unrealistically low without a large AIO or custom loop. What are you using to test for load and measure temps?

65c isn't overheating and is actually pretty good.

The stock plastic hooks are shared on AM4 and AM3+. Coolers that use that stock mounting mechanism can fit on either socket.
