Tom Wheeler of the FCC announced today that they plan to soon rewrite the rules of Net Neutrality.

they are rewriting it because the original one got shot down

so its either this or no net neutrality at all

I know most americans will refuse to even read this but some regulation is needed in order to have a leveled playing field, A 100% free market will tend to close itself by consolidating, see comcast-twc for more on that

Hey fcc when u done protecting us from asshole providers pulling dumb shit with degrading services, can we have a ban on data caps i know it will never happen but one could hope and ask. Im tired of paying data overages cuz they forced my wife on a 2 gig data plan that she blows in 2 weeks when we use wifi at home

Net neutrality sounds great on paper.  If it were solely intended to "balance" bandwidth requirements, that would be one thing.  The problem is trusting any government to get involved.  It will, with great perserverence, endeavor to turn the Internet into a regulated utility and then you will all be able to kiss the last conduit of free expression good-bye.
