I want to get myself a M.2 SSD for faster system boot on new machine, and I find that Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500G (850HKD / 109.64USD / 87.52GBP / 100.38EUR) and WD Black SN750 500G (755HKD / 97.39USD / 77.72GBP / 89.18EUR) are both at a sweet price for me. (Well actually not)
Which should I get? Mainly use for system boot and loading games (around 8GB)

Motherboard: MSI B450M MORTAR MAX
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Hexa-core processor (32M Cache, 3.6GHz)
GPU: MSI Radeon RX 580 ARMOR MK2 8G OC
RAM:
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro Memory 3200MHz CL16 16G Kit (CMW16GX4M2C3200C16 ver4.31, Samsung B-Die)
SSD: Crucial BX500 240G SATA SSD
HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA100 1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD
Power: Antec VP500P Plus
Case: Antec VSK 10 Window

Welp.

Honestly, those are both fantastic SSDs, so I would go with the WD Black, since it's a bit cheaper.

EVO+ is hands down the best PCIe3.0 M2 (and depending on how you see it the best overall)

BUT the WD is a solid drive and in the real world you wont notice the difference.

Idd go with WD. Both thrusted brands and stuff but with samsung memory you pay for the brand

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂
