My motherboard lights stay on after shutdown

So I have a aorus b360 gaming 3 wifi and recently had a power outage that was not called for. It happens whenever I shutdown my computer and the lights only go off when I flip the switch on the psu. My psu is the EVGA 650 bq 80+ bronze rated.

You can disable them in BIOS if it bothers you.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

There supposed to stay on. My motherboard lights stays on even after shutdown too.

yep. as other users said their on until power is cut to the powersupply. sometimes there is a bios setting with relation to rgb. i think sometimes asus includes that but i cannot recall

my asrock has one that cant be turned off. little bit of electrical tape solved that...

If you are talking about the RGB LEDs being on, as the others have said, they can be turned off.

You can choose how the RGB light behave when the computer is ON / Off / Sleep / Hibernation mode.

 

You can either do it directly through BIOS:

 

1) Page -34- in the motherboard manual...under the Peripherals menu tab.

2) Through RGB Fusion software.

On my ASUS X99 Deluxe II motherboard, it actually had the option to set how the RGBs reacted when in the different modes.

(e.g. on the ASUS, I can get it to cycle RGB lights when computer is ON, set RGB to dim white colour when in Sleep, all RGBs off when computer is Off)

Doesn't look like Gigabyte has that option -- only on/off.
